2008 marks my 53rd year as an image maker. Over those years I have worked as a freelance photojournalist, a medical photographer, newspaper photographer and travel writer-photographer. Those efforts were interspersed with careers in hospital management, business management, unemployed stints as a pizza cook, and more significantly, as a father of three children who bore the brunt of my continuous affair with photography. Retired now, I travel and focus on image crafting and print making.

I am not a big believer in an ordered universe, life after death, psychotherapy, daylight savings, surgery, trickle down, war or field hockey. But strong on edges, contrasts, legs, tabby cats, basketball, wood stains, wine, angry cows and Asian food. I think my world is fundamentally cubist, fractile and that everything is entirely and unforgivingly related to everything else..... return to the beginning.

I also provide customized digitization of 35mm analog images. Feel free to inquire if you are concerned about retaining these dying silver halide iamges.
